  The Adventurers finish taking the upper level of Castle Calaelen. Written by Kay with edits by myself. Date: April 29, 3517 I.R.   Location: Castle Calaelen, Upper Floor 1:30PM B laze healed Elron after the fight with the priestess and two skeletons.   When Elron tried to pick up the priestess’s war hammer, he got a shock.   Alain looked it over and picked it up with a cloth, putting it into his pack to examine later. We strategized on how to deal with the three goblins in the center tower.   Breena said that Rocky the Squirrel didn’t see any shields when it looked into the room, but they were wearing armor. Continued from Arrival in Zelcor's Ferry . Date: April 29, 3517 I.R.   Location: Outside Castle Calaelen, Borderlands Provence. Noon W e’re south of the castle, facing the moat, and observing from cover the guard platform with two gnolls on it. Blaze checked her pack and realized that she was still carrying her share of the goblins’ weapons from the old slave pits. After all of this time, people had just gotten used to carrying the extra weight and forgot about them. Elron noticed that someone was coming up the trail behind us from the west. We hid under or behind whatever cover there was, except for Alain, who remained on the trail. It appeared to be an elf, an upper-class high elf, by the look of his clothes...

The Adventurers arrive in Zelcor’s Ferry, begin exploring the area and find Castle Calaelen in ruin. Written by Kay with a few edits by myself. It is based on our March 22, 2023 session. Date: April 28, 3517 I.R.   Just past new moon Location: Borderlands Provence, about 100 miles up the Canyon River from the coast. W e took the Old Path down the shore of the Canyon River to Zelcor’s Ferry. It took us about four days and we avoided any encounters along the way. On the final day we came across a stone marker with a “50” on it, it was the first marker we had come across. Alain examined it closely, but was only able to say it was a stone marker, probably a milepost of some sort. We went to a small delta to cross a small river where it flowed into the much larger Canyon River; there were signs that there used to be a bridge there, but it was long gone.
